Ava Morilla has been dancing since the age of nine years old. She trained at Avis Dance Project for about five years, and later moved to Orange County Performing Arts Academy for two years. She’s been a competitive dancer since she was ten years old winning several group national champions at nationals over the years and placing 2nd overall with one of her solos at Hall Of Fame. She is trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet. Ava is currently part of the Martin Luther King Varsity Song Team being on the team for two years while this year is her Senior Year. She fulfilled the role of being the Captain on her team last year. The Martin Luther King Song Team also competes and has won many national championships including 1st overall at West Coast Elite Nationals with her small contemporary group dance last year, and 3rd overall for their pom routine in the Advanced level at nationals. Ava is excited to get to help guide dancers to be the best that they can be and help them reach their goals.
