Emily Kelley started her dance training at the age of 10 under Rachel and Quincy Jacinto at Riverside Dance Academy. She has trained in a variety of styles for 8 years including: ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, modern and tumbling. Emily has years of experience competing, and has had much success at competitions. For 7 years Emily has competed at competitions including Youth America Grand Prix, KAR, Rainbow, Star Systems, and Move. She has won a plethora of titles, first overall awards and special judge’s awards. She has had much experience performing in ballets such as Swan Lake as Odile, Nutcracker as Sugarplum, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, Arabian, Marzipan, Russian, and Clara, Through the Looking Glass as Alice, and Don Quixote as Mercedes and a Bridesmaid. Emily has passed on her love of dance to children for 4 years now and it remains one of her greatest passions. Emily has experience teaching kids of all ages in styles ranging from Fairy Fun to advanced ballet and contemporary. Furthermore, she has choreographed pieces and coached soloists and teams to compete, winning many awards in the ballet, contemporary, and jazz categories. Additionally, Emily has volunteered at local elementary schools to teach dance to underprivileged students, sharing her love for dance with them. Emily is currently a freshman at Cal State Fullerton double majoring in dance and communication disorders. She is excited to continue pursuing her passions for dance and teaching.
