Emily Noelke is currently a senior at the Riverside STEM Academy high school and is planning to pursue degrees in dance and architecture following her High School graduation this May. Emily began dancing at the age of 8 and has trained in various styles such as modern, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, musical theatre, tap, and acrobatics, but her favorite is ballet. She has trained with Dance Dimensions Performing Arts Center since 2011, Danzanna Dance Dance Productions since 2015, Dancing Images since 2018, and Riverside Ballet Arts since 2020. She also periodically trained with Inland Dance Theatre, Riverside Ballet Arts, Maple Conservatory, and Brea Space. Emily danced on Dance Dimensions’ competitive team for 5 seasons and received awards such as convention scholarships, photogenic awards, and 1st Place Overall at Thunderstruck Nationals. She has performed in various shows of The Nutcracker with Inland Dance Theatre and Dancing Images, and have held the holes of Sugarplum, Dewdrop, Snow Queen, Chinese Soloist, The Nutcracker, and corps de ballet roles. Emily hopes to dance, perform, and teach for as long as she possibly can, and is so excited that On Pointe has honored her with her first teaching job. She is eager to teach and learn from her lovely students while sharing her passion and what she knows about dance.
