Francesca DeCoster

NORCO DANCE TEAM DIRECTOR 

Francésca has over 20 years of dance, choreography and teaching experience. She has trained trained in various styles such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, modern, ballroom, jazz funk, hula, tahitian and contemporary. She got her start dancing during high school, when she joined the West Covina High School dance team. When she was a freshman her team was invited by the United Spirit Association to perform at the Super Bowl. Throughout her years dancing in high school she competed as a soloist and even became team captain her senior year. After high school Francésca attended Mount San Antonio as a dance major and a music minor. During her college years she also joined the hip hop dance company Breed based in Orange County and Los Angeles, she danced and  trained with the company for 3 years. A few years later Francésca worked at Disneyland Resort, during her time there she danced in multiple parades and shows such as Parade of dreams, Pixar Play parade, Main Street Electrical parade, Fantasmic and High School musical 3. Some of Francésca’s dance credits include The Drop television show, Clippers Pre-Game, Good Day LA, Chivas halftime show, backup dancer Dawn Richard of Danity Kane. And her choreographer credits include Carnival: A Choreographers Ball, House of Blues, Troy High School, Esperanza High School, West Covina High School, South Hills Academy, Saint Lucy’s Priory High School, Long Beach Ballet summer camp. Seven years after leaving Breed Francésca returned back to the company for an additional two years as principal dancer, choreographer and rehearsal director. Currently Francésca still trains by taking dance classes to further her individual skills.
