Haleema “Honey” Wright is a passionate and experienced dance teacher and choreographer with more than 30 years of experience teaching dance. She began dancing at a young age and has spent her career sharing her love of dance with children, teens, and adults while helping students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and strong technical foundations. Honey has taught in a variety of dance studios, schools, afterschool programs, and community settings. Her teaching experience includes jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, jazz-funk, and adult dance.

 

She enjoys working with dancers of different ages and skill levels and meeting students where they are in their individual dance journey. As an instructor, Honey strives to create a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment where students feel comfortable learning, growing, and expressing themselves. Her teaching approach balances technique and fundamentals with musicality, performance quality, confidence, and the enjoyment of dance. Honey is excited to bring her years of teaching experience, energy, and passion for dance to the students and families of On Pointe Dance Studio.
