Heather Russo has enjoyed a distinguished career as a professional dancer and choreographer, performing for Royal Caribbean and Holland America Cruise Lines, the Sheraton Casino, Windsor Casino, and the Disneyland Hotel, with shows spanning from Alaska to the Caribbean, Los Angeles to New York. Her professional experience also includes performing in industrials for Diesel, XOXO and Nautica, music videos and the xXx Movie Premiere with Vin Diesel. She was selected as Dance Captain and Company Manager for multiple productions where she was trusted to lead, mentor, and uphold elite performance standards.

 

Heather launched her competitive program in 2000 with the mission to create a more positive and empowering training environment than what she had seen in the industry. She went on to own and direct her own dance studio for nearly 20 years, building strong, successful competitive programs grounded in excellence, integrity, and heart-centered coaching. Under her leadership, her teams earned over 300 National Championship titles, and her Elite Worlds teams were consistently ranked in the top 10 with her Senior teams winning Bronze Medals at the World Championships for the United States All Star Federation. 

 

Now, returning to teaching with decades of experience, hindsight, and gained wisdom, Heather brings a deeper level of leadership, compassion, technical expertise, and mentorship to every dancer she coaches—helping them not only grow in skill, but in confidence, resilience, and self-belief.
