Miss Kendra has had a passion and love for dance since a young age. She started at the age of 10 years old at Urban Edge Dance Company and continued dancing there until the age of 18. She competed and danced in many styles like Contemporary,Jazz, Hip-hop, Ballet, and Tap. Some awards Miss Kendra has received would be Miss Starpower San Diego 2019. She was also on Rancho Cucamonga High School’s dance team and competed with them all 4 years. She then started teaching straight out of high school and has been teaching dance for 7 years.

She also studied dance at Cal State Long Beach and learned many styles like Modern, Ballet, Improvisation, and African Dance. She now is studying to get her BSN, RN but still wants to pursue a career in teaching dance as well.

Miss Kendra believes that dance is an art and wants to push the kids to be their true authentic self through dance. One thing she always loves to say is “Dance like nobody is watching”
